fortiss is the state-owned research institute of the Free State of Bavaria for the development of software-intensive systems, based in Munich. Our scientists collaborate in research, development and transfer projects with universities, research institutions and technology leaders throughout Bavaria, Germany and Europe. We focus on methods, techniques and tools for reliable, secure and reproducible software solutions and artificial intelligence applications.
 
Our Project Management & Controlling team supports all research projects of public funding bodies as well as industrial clients with its commercial expertise from the bidding phase through to completion.

To expand our team, we are looking for a

Working Student/Student Assistant (m/w/d) in Project Management

10-20 hours per week with immediate effect.
 

Your tasks:

  • You will be involved in all project management processes from applications to payments requirements
  • You support us in monitoring and controlling project budgets to ensure that we stay within budget
  • You will be involved in documenting the project progress and results to maintain an overview and ensure success.

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled at a German university, preferably in a study program with an economics or social science background
  • You are confident in using MS Office, especially MS Excel, and you like working with numbers
  • You enjoy working on complex tasks, on structured work and on visible results
  • You plan your tasks carefully and enjoy working in a team
  • You like thinking outside the box
  • You speak and write in German fluently (at least C1) and you are confident with English.
