Who are we?

fortiss is the Research Institute of the Free State of Bavaria for software-intensive systems, based in Munich. The researchers at the institute collaborate in research, development and transfer projects with academic research and technology companies in Bavaria, Germany, and Europe. The focus is on researching state-of-the-art methods, techniques, and tools for the development of software- and AI-based technologies for reliable, secure cyber-physical systems such as the Internet of Things (IoT). With our research results, we support the economy and administration in Bavaria and thus help companies to master the digital transformation.

We are currently looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) to support our Marketing & Communications team.

Your tasks:

  • Supporting the creation and preparation of content for the Marketing and Communications department
  • Researching and preparing research topics for further textual and graphic editing
  • Scouting of company news
  • Support with the organization of internal and external events
  • Coordination of small film productions
  • Support in the continuous optimization of the website and content formats
  • Creation of presentations
  • Maintaining contacts as a basis for the introduction of a CRM system.

Your profile:

  • Degree in economics or communication sciences or a similar program
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Interest and curiosity in various digital topics of the future
  • Enjoy working with social media platforms such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Enjoy working with people in a multicultural environment
  • Open-minded, communicative, and self-confident demeanor
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Initial experience in corporate communications desirable
  • Initial experience with content management systems an advantage.
